By the standards of the week so far, this was a very relaxed day. In the morning, I was very kindly taken by one of our host Rotarians to a local Methodist church service. This was a nice way to ease into the day, being a very relaxed and informal service - certainly by comparison with the Anglican services that I remember from my childhood.
After church, the whole team met at the house of Kevin, the team leader of the South African GSE team that has just returned from Scotland. This was a chance to unwind somewhat, and it also gave us an opportunity as a team to do some work on our presentation based on the excellent feedback that we got from our first presentation.
We also took the opportunity to engage in some social singing, led by Mike on the guitar, including national anthems and various folk music from around the world, and also to try and teach the South African contingent some of our traditional Scottish dances. We actually came up with a pretty good result, and it got everyone's spirits up as the weather had taken a little turn to colder winds, and we lost the sunshine we have got used to over the last couple of days.
