This morning was spent with the South African Department of Social Development which covered the Motherwell township....Yes Motherwell is a township! We visited a secure young offenders unit and a day centre for children with physical disabilities. The facilities were in relative terms greater for the offenders than they were for the young children, but much exceptional work was being carried out by the staff in these facilities.
The morning was followed by a lunch time presentation at Algoa Bay Rotary club and an afternoon to shop and pack for our travels to Kimberley tomorrow.
Much thanks must go to Clive and Cathy Hassle who have entertained us on our final night in P.E, and to all who have been so kind to us during our stay......the Potjie kos was brilliant!!!!!
