Something of a change today. We were taken first thing in the morning to the Volkswagen plant in Uitenhage to meet out hosts for the day, and were given a very informative and interesting tour of the production line, and then walked around the auto museum on site. I managed to get some good pictures, which my wife (a huge VW fan) will be very jealous of.

After the tour, we went for a very nice lunch with some of our host Rotarians, and then myself and Sarah Bayes went to the Magistrates Court in Uitenhage and spoke to the magistrate who presides over all the Child Court hearings (among others). This was hugely informative, and gave a real context to much of the work that I have seen in other vocational visits.

After this we were given some time to wash and change in preperation for the presentation in the evening. This was our largest presentation so far, which was a little worrying, but the warm welcome we got from all the Rotarians was very relaxing, and it all seemed to go well. I had some very nice conversations after the evening closed, and there was just the drive back to P.E. A long day, but a very interesting one.
